Nutritional Counseling

At the Greater Health Clinic we offer Nutritional Counseling which is individually tailored to fit your specific needs and health concerns. When meeting with a patient we look at the person as a whole, asking a multitude of questions to determine your specific patterns and presentations.  The goal is to put together a protocol custom tailored to help correct your nutritional deficiencies and/or imbalances, address  the issues brought forth, and help restore your well-being. We feel that the foundation to good health is an optimal digestive system.  This is essential in order for you to be able to absorb and utilize your nutrient intake.  Your diet and lifestyle should be promoting good health not undermining it.  Thus a properly tailored dietary regime will be individually selected to help your system digest foods properly, help with blood sugar balancing, and address mineral, fatty acids, proteins, and carbohydrate intake.

Some of the health issues we see at the clinic and have been working with for many years include but are not limited to - Digestive issues such as bowel irregularities, IBS, Crohn’s disease, Candidiasis, food sensitivities such as gluten intolerances, food reactivity syndrome, SIBO, bloating, dysbiosis, leaky gut,  and parasites. We also see patients with sugar imbalances, EBV, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, osteo arthritis, R.A., joint pain and/or general inflammation, infertility, insulin resistance, environmental allergies, stress related issues, anxiety, depression, ADD, ADHD,  migraines, headaches, skin imbalances, and weight imbalances,  to name a few. We have found that an increasing number of people are becoming reactive to grains and sensitive or intolerant  to many foods.  Many of the issues mentioned above can sometimes,  even though seemingly unrelated, be connected to digestive difficulties or insufficiencies. Once we have determined the deficient and/or excess areas of imbalance, your protocol will be geared to help detoxify (if needed) and  to allow healing to take place.
